Over 3 epic summer trips filled with heart-pumping action, my thrill-seeking kids have fallen in love with the “Magic Dragon” – the lake’s snaking shape resembles a green fire-breathing dragon from overhead!

As an Oregon resident and avid hiker, visiting stunning Crater Lake has been on my family’s annual summer bucket list for over 5 years now. The kids love discovering trails to majestic Rainbow Falls and recharging with sweet treats at the village bakery afterward!
